Attitude Media, founded in 1996, is a a diverse group of media ventures that are collaborations between John F. Groom, who serves as the central marketing and branding focus, and highly talented and specialized co-creators from around the globe. He wrote several hundred essays for the Outrage.com, as well as editing and writing for PositivePress.com. He has writtten extensively about investing for AnnuityNet.com and SeekingAlpha.com.

Groom is the author of two books, Living Sanely in An Insane World and Life Changing Advice from People You Should Know. He has given many radio interviews to promote these books, and was interviewed on a national Fox News television program about Living Sanely.

Background: Groom served as Director of Content and Site Development, and later as a consultant, for AnnuityNet.com (now Ebix) a pioneering online financial services company owned by GE Life and Annuity Assurance Company, John Hancock Variable Life Insurance Company, Keyport Life Insurance Company, Lincoln National Life Insurance Company, and others. The company was the first to sell variable annuities online.

Groom created PositivePress.com and TheOutrage.com. Positive Press has delivered Positive News and the Positive Quote of the Day to millions of readers. There are currently approximately 43,000 subscribers to the Positive Quote of the Day.

Featured Project:

  • Official Lies: How Washington Misleads Us, by James T. Bennett and Thomas Dilorenzo.

    This book examined the communications endeavors of the federal government. Official Lies was reviewed by the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Orange County Register, and elsewhere. Success magazine purchased an excerpt of the book. C-Span featured the book on their broadcast. The authors were interviewed on scores of radio stations across the U.S. Official Lies sold 3.5 times as many copies as the typical public policy book.
